My cat LOVES this food. He has urinary issues and the vet prescribed a Hill’s product that he refused to eat (and had not-so-great ingredients). I feel great about feeding him this as well as the Controlled Magnesium Chicken flavor.

Our cat, 13 y/o Teddy has CKD and needs a low phosphorus diet. Evangers Boneless Beef Chunks in broth is the only canned food he will eat. He loves that it is formulated like a thick gravy! He is on his 3rd case now and still gets supper excited to chow down at meal time. I believe his health has held steady and even improved a bit since starting him on EVx.

My cat absolutely loves this food! She doesn’t like the prescription food very much so, when I found this, I knew that she would love this food…she loves beef! Thank you Evanger’s for making a low phosphorus food to help with kidney disease!

My 10-year-old male has had CKD (in the stage 4 range) for nine years. We have struggled to find low-phosphorus food that he will eat. So far, he (and my two non-CKD cats) like this a lot. He has turned down EVERY other low- and lower-phosphorus diet food on the market (Rx & non-Rx). Mostly, I think, because he does not like chicken at all. This has the lowest no-Rx phosphorus (50% D.M.) allowed to pass AAFCO. The protein % D.M. is inching up to the higher limit I would like, but as long as he’s eating it, will stick with it.

My older kitty who is 19 likes the soup when I stir it up so much easier than the Vet prescription pate, larger pieces, that is hard for her to chew. She must like the flavor. Have to let the food warm up a bit when it’s been in the refrigerator for a day. First day is the best for her. I’m hoping that it is helping her to have a little more energy an quality of life, an still can ask to go outside supervise , lay in the sun an even lay down an still watch the birds.I’m going to email one of the Co. to see why they can’t make
Cat food ,the same. Older cat can’t eat larger pieces.Thank you for making your type of cat food.

Not bad on price for good cat food; has completely changed my cat’s diet & digestive tract for the better! Had their other “stew” style with chicken and it’s recently changed and has a different texture, etc. Hopefully they do NOT change this beef version!
