Life – saving nutrition for my allergy dog
My dog suffers from severe food allergies as well as environmental allergies, which made her feeding her safely a constant challenge. She had been on hydrolyzed protein dog food where the proteins are broken down into tiny amino acid fragments so the immune system is less likely to recognize them as allergens. While that helped with reactions, She eventually became protein deficient and started losing condition.
After searching for another option, I introduced Evanger’s single protein formulas, Pacifically rabbit and chicken the difference has been incredible these foods gave her the nourishment and usable protein she desperately needed while still being simple enough for her sensitive system.
Today Evanger’s is helping keeping my dog alive and thriving. Her energy is better, she looks healthier and I finally feel like I found something that works for her complicated allergy needs.
If you have your dog with severe sensitivities and need limited single protein options, Evanger’s has a been a blessing for us.
This product has clearly gone downhill. The new “glossy” formula is a downgrade, and after feeding it to my dog, they developed allergy symptoms they’ve never had before.
On top of that, multiple cans arrived dented—completely unacceptable for pet food.
Poor quality, poor control, and potentially harmful. I will not be buying this again. Avoid.
